|Hopsa is a simple Danish dance. While building up a dance set, you have normally two walzes, two polkas etc. But the set is ending with just one Hopsa. Because dancers get quite tired dancing hopsa and needs to rest. Therefore a dance set is always ending with a hopsa
|Start jumping from each other, fast shift of foot (like polka but faster) Boys start on left foot, girls on right
|Towards each other with a swift change foot
|YOu dance together rotating twice with 4 hopsa step. Then you start over.
