The consent tool
The consent tool allows you to view embedded YouTube videos, as well as view your most recent sheet music and share your sheet music with others on the same WiFi network.
By acceptance, yes is said to:
- Cookies from direct viewing of embedded YouTube videos.
The videos can be convenient to watch along with sheet music of the same melody that are played in the video. For example: Molbodrengens hopsa.
Videos can also be convenient to watch on a text page rather than a link to video. For example, at the bottom of this page: Who are Folkets Hus Spillefolk?.
- Your IP address is stored for 30 days every time you look up one of our sheet music.
a) The IP address is used to show you your latest sheet music,
b) The IP address is used when sharing sheet music with others using same WiFi-net.
The consent tool only appears on the pages where it is needed. The first time is shown what can be answered yes or no to. Hereafter you can switch between yes or no by a tool at the top of pages where YouTube videos are displayed with sheet music or with a dance description, as well as on sheet music pages where we collect your IP address. On plain text pages with embedded YouTube video, the tool is displayed at the bottom right.
Technical required cookies – can not be deselected
When you visit our website, a number of technical cookies are set to control the website’s functionality. Only the most important technical cookies are mentioned here.
With a cookie, we store your choice (yes/no) of consent to Youtube cookies and that we collect your IP address. At the bottom of this page are the questions that you can answer yes or no to. After this, the consent can be changed on all pages where Youtube videos are displayed, or where we collect your IP address.
When you log in, we will set up a number of cookies and store your login information. If you select “Remember me”, your login will last for a year. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will disappear.
Cookies from embedded YouTube video – can be deselected
YouTube videos carry third-party cookies, even if we have enabled YouTube’s enhanced privacy mode.
To control Youtube playback, a number of cookies are added on your device (PC, tablet, smartphone or similar) with these names:
|yt-remote-session-app||marketing||disappears when the browser is closed|
|yt-remote-cast-installed||marketing||disappears when the browser is closed|
|yt-remote-session-name||marketing||disappears when the browser is closed|
|yt-remote-fast-check-period||marketing||disappears when the browser is closed|
|yt-player-volume||funktional||disappears when the browser is closed|
Youtube cookies remember the sound settings you make, for example silent or volume setting, and apply it to the next video you see, for example if you want to see some other videos on spillefolk.dk the next day).
To track the viewing of Youtube videos, Youtube places these two marketing cookies on your device (PC, tablet, smartphone or similar):
|VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE||measures your bandwidth||180 days|
|YSC||gives you a temporary ID number||disappears when the browser is closed|
If you say ‘no’ by the “Consent Tool“, you will not be able to watch embedded YouTube videos.
NB: There are more cookies than the ones mentioned above if you watch YouTube videos on our pages with YouTube video link, because then the playback takes place directly from youtube.com.
Your IP address
We collect your IP addresses every time you visit sheet music. With this we can show you your latest lookups, and it makes it possible for people in the same room on the same WiFi network to easily look up the same sheet music, as the sheet music list is automatically updated for everyone with the same IP address. Ourself we use your IP address to make a 30-day statistic of which countries use our sheet music collection.
If you say “no” by the “Consent Tool“, we will not collect your IP address, nor will you see a list of your most recent sheet music listings.
See more details on IP-address and “Playing together” here: Storage of IP addresses.
